What is Every Woman Matters?

Every Woman Matters can help women get their annual health examinations. The program is for women 40 to 64 years of age, who have limited or no health insurance, and have a low or moderate income.

Every Woman Matters pays for the following annual screening services:
í²„ Pelvic exam with a Pap test
í²„ Clinical breast exam
í²„ Teaching of breast self exam
í²„ Cholesterol
í²„ Triglicerides
í²„ Glucose (Diabetes)
í²„ Mammogram
í²„ Colon Cancer Screening

Every Woman Matters also pays for other follow up tests including:
í²„ Breast ultrasound
í²„ Cervical biopsies
í²„ Breast biopsies
í²„ Other definitive diagnostic tests for breast and cervical cancer
